IDS New Whey
So I just was given a case of a new type of protein made by IDS! It looks like some sort of gel and has 42g of protein and no carbs, no fat at 176 calories. My friend is swearing by this product.
I popped one open today and tried it out, not very much of the gel in the container but after a couple minutes in my stomach it felt like it was somehow expanding and made me fill full. Anyone tried this stuff out and what were the results? http://www.idssports.com/ Last edited by upondeez : 12-12-2007 at 10:41 PM. Reason: add link! |

Hella convenient to use, does not need to be chilled (goes down easier of not). You can throw a couple in your gym bag for whenever you can't get to a shake or food soon enough.

Its garbadge protein. its made from whey collagen protein which is the lowest form of protein made. Its what alot of co's are now doing because the price of whey has sky rocketed. Its basically a form of left over protein waste. Imo pay more and get better quality whey.

go to trueprotein.com and get WPI in bulk. That's what I do.
I also get proteins/gainers from big reputable companies like Universal and Cytosport. Real Gains and CytoGainer are great. Can't go with Optimum if you don't mind the taste too much. |

I am using BSN now and really like it, Cyto evppro is also what I use directly before bed.
I ran across these IDS New whey and thought it was a good idea, did not realize that they used junk protein. Thanks CPT, I have used true protein in the past and will probally jump back on that wagon at some point. |

i have been taking the ids new whey for about 3 months and i love it! it has a blend of whey protein.. it has hydrolyzed (predigested) collagenic whey protein isolate, whey protein isolate and casein protein isolate. deffenitly not garbage as i am bigger and stronger than ever. haven taken any powder which was optimum pro complex, that was great but the New Whey is so much easier to take! the only downside to me is the price, 3$ a tube!!! also you must drink plenty of water with it or you will have one bad stomace ace and fart like a dog!!! lol

The IDS new whey is made by protica research. Protica.com It IS 80% Collagen hydrolysate. The is Pork Skin protein. Collagen is a great replacement for whey in this formula as it is 90% protein and only costs $1.15/lb where as Whey protein Isolate goes for $4.95 a lb. and if it was hydrolyzed it would be another $1/lb.
