i'm cutting now, and so i've restricted my diet to 2500cals ed...at my weight of 235 and activity level, that's still a 1500cal deficit ed just to stay at maintenence, so i figure i'll dump some weight eating this way. i've also started cardio every morning (5x week anyhow) for 1/2hour on an empty stomach. i'll lose bf this way, but i'm also sure i'll dump weight and some lbm too...right?
wrong! i've been going like this for two weeks, and i've gained two lbs., and i'm still getting stronger. i checked my bf today, it's at 17.6%, it was 19.8% when i started. this seems accurate...i'm looking bigger but my waist is getting smaller. wtf!? i'm not complaining, but can someone tell me how i can gain lbm with less than maintenence for caloric intake? thanks in advance...

The only way I know this is if you are still on a cycle or the cycle is still in your system. I would guess in this case you are maintaining your muscle and maybe even building. Just a guess. Your body could be feeding off of the stored fat.
I have grown at 2500 to 3000 calories a day. even with some intense cardio. I did not grow a lot. Are you weighing yourself at the same time ed? |

yessir, every morning...and i am on some juice, but just a touch to keep the muscle on while the fat comes off...
so what your saying is, my body is using fat for the energy deficit and using the protien to build muscle...that would explain why if i don't eat on time i get hypoglycemic type sides lately...

my guess chili is if your still even taking small amounts of AAS your system is still not stabilized yet from your last cycle.. Your water balance also may be off slightly, but I think oldman maybe right on target with your body feeding on the fat stores. It's really hard to say without seeing what happens in the next week.

ANNNNNYWAYS .... GOD DAMN chili! I WISH I could consider Sus, GH, Winstrol, etc. ALL NATURAL ..... omfg!!!! lucky son of a bitch. hah I guess its good to tell yourself you're all natural though while you're on GH, Sus, Winstrol etc.. all natural for amp is MAYYYYBE some pharmaceutical grade creatine, some amino acid / glutamine powder.
