Question My heads on a swivel

Over the years, you come across so many so called "breakthrough" supplements, it'll make your head spin. You come to learn that there is really no magic otc bullet. Remember when okg was supposed to be shit? Then it was hmb, then that was said to suck, now its gaining popularity again. In '98, everyone was running to get andro(didn't do a damn thing for me), then its creatine transport systems, now its said thats a waste of $$. Every year there's a so called kick-ass new supplement, and then 2 years later it turns out it was either complete crap or not nearly as effective for its price. I think that a good protein has stood the test of time and we all know that we need that. I have read hundreds of articles on creatine and yes, I use it, but still think of it more as a cell-volumizer by way of h2o then a great muscle-tissue builder. So instead of reading articles in magazines promoting the latest thing(as the company finances that issue) please let me know what otc supplements have worked the best for you guys for aiding in muscle-tissue growth. I'm thinking of buying ZMA(Z-MASS PM BRAND) and would like to know your experience with it.

dude i hear your rant. andro has done absolutely shit for me but drain my wallet. i have seen some good results w/ creatine though, strength and endurance-wise. i really believe the only good over the counter supplement is good ol multivitamins and protein. hell that may be all you need, i'm starting to realize that myself.

I hear ya' Crew! Imagining what I could have now with all the $$ I've spent on supps over the years...GGRRRRR!
ECA (from eph hcl, not the pre-made, heavily marketed brands) has remained a winner in my book, and protein shakes for convenience... and when you need a break from tuna, eggs, chic, blah, blah, blah

sorry, haven't tried the ZMA
