does creatine act as an anti-imflamitory? i quit taking it a week and a half ago and both of my shoulders hurt to bad to do any movement that involves them.

It draws water into your muscles which can assist in soothing the muscles.It aslso gives you more leverage to push weight with.about a 10% strength increase.But, the down side is it does nothing to support you ligaments,tendons,etc.So its possible you could have a strain nothing major.When the water leaves your muscles,which happens in a matter of a couple of weeks,you dont have that support.Kinda hard to explain.Just watch form and dont over do it.Rest! <img border="0" alt="[dance]" title="" src="graemlins/dance.gif" />

I've got a can of Champion Nutritio Pharmeceutical Grade 100% Creatine Monohydrate...and unless your creatine has a few added ingredients for that stuff, I would have to say no...creatine doesn't have anything to ease joint pain!!! Like JoeJoe said, while it helps with strength, it also adds fluid in thejoints lubing them and helping them with heavy weights...Remember, once you quit taking it it will no longer perform this task for you...my advice is to get some Glucosimine w/ MSM...you'll feel better!!

thank guys, i am going to rest and get some glucosimine. i have heard that i takes a month for it to work . is that true? J.R.

Buddy at GNC said it takes a week or so.I think you will get relief before a month.
