let me know if you've hear this or agree with it; someone told me that if you've been taking creatine monohydrate for a few months it would be best to go off of it for a few more, then go back on so you don't become desensitized to it. he said that the edge would be lower but not all lost during this time, but when you load up and maintain once again the results will be great. is this true?

i have read alot of articles on this.but i have seen that each person has there own opinion. one thing you have to remember is that creatine is just like testosterone, meaning that your body produces it naturally. so since about a week after you started taking it your body has stopped making it. so you must prepare yourself for when you come off of it. you will lose a little weight and strength. what i have read and seems to work for me is just to reload it every two months. it worked for me but now i don't use powder. i use ribose -c. it is liquid.

I see no need to cycle it, your muscles are either saturated with it or they're not. I do not use it while on a cycle because of the extra water retention. Later

You should cycle it but do not front load it.

preloading should always be done. it saturates the muscle cells with creatine quicker than normal doses but once it is pointless once your musclecells are saturated to take more than 10 grams a day.
