WOW, 55 years? And my brother, who is your age, calls me crazy for sticking with it for 22 years now.

Hey bro, what part of Louisiana are you from? I'm from New Orleans.

I'm from the Red Stick and I will be 56 in April. I've beern training off and on for 43 years. I hope when you get my age you can look back and see just as many years behind you as I have behind me. I was in a car accident 11/19/06, herniated two discs in my neck and been having a helluva lot of problems with that, but as Arnold the Terminator says "I'll be back!"

Looking amazing, olepapaswole.

I'm older than most guys around here too, papaswole but I feel great and people say that I look younger. I guess that lifting contributes for a great part to the way we look.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, weight training and nutrition definitely keep us younger than our ages relate. I have seen your pics on other sites and I agree with what people say about you, you do look younger than your age.

Thank you ct*)
The only thing that bothers me is some aches and pains due to overtraining or excess weight (I don't recover as fast as I used to when I was younger).

Yes, the aches and pains I know all too well. I train four days a week and rest three for recovery. At least that's what I like, but a car accident, 11/19/06, herniated two discs in my neck have really hampered my training. I broke my neck at 14 and damaged it more kickboxing in my 20's, so this last incident may lead to surgery. I sent you a personal message on another board, but can't remember which (old people forget stuff you know). Train to live, live to train.

Ouch.... You have had more injuries than I have lol.
I have lower back pain and my Achilles is killing me (tendonitis and small tear). I have an appointment at the hospital on Thursday (Orthopedic surgeon). All I hope is that I won't need surgery.

Don't worry, I also forget things from time to time. I'm at many boards, not too sure that it's OK to post the names here, so I'll PM you.

Lookin excellent bud. Pics like that show people how far a little hard work everyday can do for ya in the long run. Expecially to recover from an accident like that and still hold your own. very nice!
