Only in America will you find women like that...European (and Australian) women care a lot more about how they look...would never let them get so heavy...

No kidding? I never would have thought that...that's interesting.
Any idea what the rate of obesity is amongst kids? The same as the US?

Not sure, I used to know the exact figures but I think I am due for some carbs.....hahaha
I know its pretty high though, around 30% I think......
Our meals are alot smaller than in the USA, but we have got alot of take outs and people are lazy to cook! We are taking after the americans in that retrospect! I will say that when you go out for dinner and order, the size of the meals are alot smaller and we don't get sides as extras. You have to pay for everything except for a glass of water. But bread, salads you name it, you pay!

Too many paddlepops? One huge difference I noticed was that in Sweden, the grocery stores had way less, of everything...especially processed stuff. You go into one in the US, it's amazing how much stuff there is...200 types of cereal, chips, ready made pasta, etc. Another big difference is that in Sweden, having dinner at home, as a family, every day, is prioritized...I miss that.

You have some sizes here in u.k too. I think u.k is worst in europe probably catching up with the u.s

I think food is more expensive in the scandinavian countries. In Iceland it is double what it is in england.
