Scamming would not be my concern here Bro. If Chaos and Basskiller believe in him he's as safe as anyone in my opinion. |

I think the issue is the 'safer' couriers require signatures

I have never been able to receive a package from China without having to sign for it even EMS and DHL. Maybe a remailer from France or something could get it to you without sig but I never heard of it happening.

But I have been in this game since 2003, I have ordered a lot of product from China from a good source that is gone now... AND NEVER SIGNED for a single order. TNT Shipping was the last shipper from China in May of this year, NO SIGNATURE required !! So don't say it can't be done. We have to .. or at least I want to stay safe as posssible. J |

I agree with Jonny, LE will get you if they want you. But I totally I understand your concerns.

Usually all courier shipments require signature. At my end I believe it would be very odd if we instructed a courier company, TNT for instance, not to take a signature from the receiver. Perhaps it just depends on the guy delivering the parcel.

I had a package stopped for an extended period of time once due to a Dept of Agriculture hold since the source listed the item as some sort of vegetable growth enhancer. I then took appropriate precautions before receiving package. Turned out ok but at least I knew ahead of time. |

If they were going to get you , wouldnt they have it set up where the tracking still showed its progress to it's destination? This way they would think you thought everything was still ok because it was still tracked. I mean LE would have to know that you are watching the tracking, so why wouldnt they set it up like everything was happening as it should?

First the package needs to go thru customs, which from my experience typically take less than 24hrs unless they catch it. Then it needs to be sent for testing, then I would imagine they need to alert Fed LE, which would probably alert local LE then they would have to combine resources and figure out their plan, which inludes using the carrier's computer system and entering false tracking information. All of which would probably take over 24hrs to devise. Needless to say, if your item is in customs over 48hrs then put up your radar.
