Has anyone had a herniated disk? Could you work out?
Can anyone suggest a workout routine that could be done with a herniated disk?
It is painful just to do daily activities, but I can't just stop working out completely. Just want to make sure I don't make it any worse by working out.
I haven't been to the gym in two weeks and am afraid that I will start losing size/strength quickly soon.

It's best to let it heal. Lifting anything even 20 pounds could futher the injury. Wait to the pain subsides. It might just lessen not go away. If that's the case core training and stretches in the morning and night should be done to help rehab the injury and build the back up slowy.

I had C5 and C6 fused, I lost feeling in most of my body and could hardly walk because I fucked around and ignored the problem.
Almost put myself in a wheel chair for good!

Be smart and get if fixed first, plenty of time to train later.

Yes let it heal. One month without any weights at least to be safe. Surgery may be an option, but so is different therapies. After a while you should be able to lift heavy. I know a few people with herniated disks and crushed vertabrae and they are some of the best squatters in the world. They just learned to do less volume and work around the problem.

Unless yer doc OK's it, stay out of the gym and let it heal. Once it's all good again the size/strenght will come back pretty fast. The time off will do your whole body good, just maintain a good diet...
