Achillies Tendon partial tear..

At the insertion point on the heel..

DOnt know what started is, I think I stepped on a piece of guide rail at work wrong and then had an odd pain for a few days. Was doing my heavy rack deads and moved in an odd way with 800+ on the bar. I leaned back but corrected the lean at the lowest point, my ankles.. Felt and heard what sounded like rice crispies.

Well ff a month and it never got better so I went to a Doc and now am out of the gym for 3 to 4 weeks. NO CARDIO.. Ugh..

She wanted me in a cast for the month but I cannot go to work like that. So now I am in a brace whenever I am home. This sucks..

If it dont get better in the 3 weeks, I have to get a cast and stay out of work..

Injuries are the worst thing for us. Not only does it hinder our training (of course we all still train to some level no matter how bad it hurts because we are sick) but the mental depression of not being able to go full force. The latter I believe is our worst enemy.
Just know that the fact remains. We are all in better shape than "normal" people and you will bounce back quickly after recovery. Keep your chin up and let that shit heal.

Sorry to hear. This would set you back. I hear those heal slowly because of the lack of blood flow there.
