Post surgiery training

All:

I am just healing up from a 2 intestinsal surgeries and will be fine as far as that goes. However, I have about a 6 " vertical incision right down my mid and lower abs. I am trying to figue out my training future, since my doc says that heavy lifting is 100 lbs at least for the next 6 to 8 weeks and is reluctant to say anything about the future, except nothing willbe as good as it was before, I suppose due to liability issues. The big risk is herniation at the incision site, which would require another repair with surgical mesh. This event kicked my ass, I lost 35 lbs in 3 weeks.

Has anybody dealt with this kind of thing or know anyone who has? Before this my traing revolved around deads, squats, bench and all related accessory movements.

Thanks for any input....
