Post injury problem

I have an injury in my right wrist that won't allow me to bench press or shoulder press. Can I still get bigger with out doing these movements? What do you guys recomend to work around this?

Bench and Shoulder Presses are very important for these key areas especially if you want a balanced physique.....You can do Dumbell movements for these instead and will still be effective, but if you can't do the barbell movements because of a wrist injury, I suspect you won't be able to push the dumbells either, your best bet is to see a doctor and go over all of your options and try to over come this injury...if worse comes to worse, maybe you can find a wrist brace that will allow you to use these movements!!!!

Thanks for the advice. I have been seeing a specialist but it is a long process. It is a nerve issue and I don't want to mess with that.

I hear ya on that, I mean there's no reason one should take a chance and make an injury worse!!! But like I said, you do need those movements in your regimine somewhere, and as also stated, the only suitable sustitutes will likely cause you problems as well!!!! Your best bet is to do what you can, over come this injury, and hit hard after you're running on all cylinders!!!
