No, those plates are fakes. They had a booth set up for people to take pictures so I said what the hell. That is what the was for in the original posting. It felt like 250 to be honest.

I did get in the animal stack cage and won a t-shirt and a bunch of animal packs, their new nitrus supplement (see pic, black packages). You had to bench double your body weight raw, so me weighing 225, I pressed 450 to get the free stuff. It is basically a cage set up to show off for the pencil necks there and get free supps..

585 is still a couple years away for me at the rate I am going. Oh well, I'm only 25.

I'm sure someone from the classic is posting this up as if it were real...check youtube and I'm sure it is there. The plates do look amazingly real, but if you watch the bar it doesn't even bend...Great for pictures though. Maybe even to fool someone who doesn't know any better.

FUTURE is possibly the strongest man on any board, a true strength freak and even stronger than Phreezer and In-Human. He has benched 580 shirtless. Ronnie Coleman can't do that and neither can Fred Hatfield. Only a very small handfull of powerlifters can bench 450 shirtless, even though half the guys on the boards claim to do so.

Shawn Bellon is super strong. He has squatted 890lbs, deadlifted 810lbs, and bench pressed 580lbs raw. Shawn is well known at oldschoolbodybuilding.com where he is willing to help lifters achieve their goals. During Shawn's quest for strength, he has suffered some injuries. However, Shawn is strong willed and he has bounced back and we should see some more incredible feats of strength from this monster in months and years ahead.

lol what boards do you hangout at??

Im not denying the Red, but I definately dont agree with the black...

Now if your talking about a competition lift with a pause at the bottom i would be more inclined to agree with you.

Just for the record, I make no claims about my 450 bench...In fact, I have it on video to prove it. I weigh in at 220 now, but when I pushed 450 I was 215. I think more guys can do it than you might think.

Yes...

Now if you are talking about a competition style lift, then yes I would agree there is probably a very small % of the population that can do 450lbs with a full pause at the bottom.

You don't have to agree or disagree, what I stated was fact; not opinion.

Very few can flat bench 450 shirtless, especially at that weight. My old buddy FLAT_TOP is built perfectly for the bench, 5'8" and 240 lbs, with short, thick tendons and has gotten to 440 clean after years of countless failed attempts. Bigriggs, I like you bro, but even with a video, I would be skeptical. At 25, I was extremely strong with rapid recovery and at 215 could never quite pull 400 lbs. You appear taller and leaner than I was at that weight. I've never seen ANYONE bench 450 lbs freestyle. I know a few that can do it, but the number of board bros that claim to be able to do it is about as believable as all those guys with 20" arms.

I am repping 405, 6 times on a good day while on. Given I am on 750mg test and 50mg dbol when I press 450. I don't know what else to tell you, it is the god honest truth I can press 450 raw no bouncing off the chest, totally controlled... It wasn't in competition but I know it was a nice pause and lockout. Maybe I am just a gifted bencher. Now, my squat is a different story. Maybe I should get into competing. Hell, I haven't even put on a bench shirt.

Well I im not gonna get into a debate, cause at the end of the day it is your opinion until you can get me statistics.

I would tell you what I benchpress, knowing I am a very gifted bencher at 6'5 305lbs but you probably wouldnt believe the weights were real? lol

It all goes back to the saying that, "just because YOU cant do it, doesnt mean it cant be done"... I dont know who said it first, but its a damn good one.

The Arnold Classic was awsome this year and yes there were so many drop dead gorgeous women walking around there you almost got the sense there were no overweight women left in the world.

No, I was there and saw that exhibition. The plates were fake. The true weight was about 225 to 250. It was set up for fun so people could get pictures benching weight they will never really get to bench.

Here are some of my pictures. The number of bodybuilders I either shook hands with or was within 3 feet of was truly amazing and every one of them very friendly. I talked to Steve Blechman, Lou Ferigno and Peter Putnam and Dennis James. I was within 3 feet of Ronnie Coleman, DorianYates, Lee Priest, Roland Kickinger, Kevin Levrone, Shawn Ray, Flex Wheeler, Flex Lewis, Jay Cutler, Titan (Mike O'Hearn) and Wolf from American Gladiator. Every time I turned around there was someone else just walking around like he was normal size or something.
