What ya huntin growinboy? i was up in the stand over the holidays when I had no business being up there @ all. wind was so bad that if a deer would have come by I would have had to pull my bow sitting down or fall out of the tree. Dumbass! LOL And cold on top of that.

Its the last weekend to get deer with shotgun this winter... Ill be in Northern Ill. Gotta go pick up some handwarmers and shit today after the gym... We've got a good location, plenty of deer, so Im just worried about the weather!

Has anyone been boar hunting?

My friend has asked me to go boar hunting with him. He said that there is no gun restriction for boars in the state that he lives in. They are considered a nuisance animal.

So I figure I would hunt with him and bring a 12 gauge or a high powered rifle.

Never been boar hunting. I would love to stick one with an arrow. That is one hunt I will have to do before I die. I would definately pack a pistol just in case though. I've seen video of them charging after being shot.

Well... it was subzero temps all weekend- we only saw a handful. I got this year old buck at about 75-80 yards on friday...

Mossberg 500 12ga firing federal's powershok shells... Thats the second time Ive used federals- dont think ill use them again- they really dirty my gun up... I was up in a 12 foot stand with my back to a pond- really good location JiantJay hooked us up with on private land...

You bow hunt at all? I have about 7000 acres of state land where I hunt. I see a bruiser every year. I didn't say I get one every year.LOL I see them. I would never go out there gun hunting thats for sure. Too many idiots.
Man I would love to get a hunting camp going with a bunch of guys who hunt. I can't wait til my son gets old enough to hunt.
