A bit of hypocracy I believe

I for one have noticed over the span of many years online at these "bodybuilding" forums, that there arent many people online, or that even post on the weekends at all. Even on topics that you KNOW will get lots of posts, they just dont do it. So what does this lead me to believe? First, I shouldnt EVER believe that these people are going out and partying till the early morning. Why? Because 90% of the people on these websites will preach constantly about how you need to be "commited" to your training, you cant expect to gain much if you are drinking excessively, etc, etc, etc. Another generalization I'll make is this. You dont have family as an excuse, because it is easy to assume that less than half of all the membership have a family (ie. wife AND kids). So lets not use that as an excuse for what's taking up your time on the weekends.

So what are we left with? The only last excuse is that maybe you spend so much money on your gear that you can afford a home pc, and you only use your work computer. Well, I highly doubt that, the average juicer that gets online and keeps up on current trends and research is likely in a decent job. So you can afford a home pc with a broadband connection. Because if you are still using dial-up, then please stop reading now and go get in line for your monthly government cheese.

And now were down to what you are actually doing. You are out drinking and showing off your work that you have done to your body. I've been there, and done that plenty to know that's what goes on. I enjoyed it, and I wont fault anyone for it. But I noticed just before I made this thread that I hadn't seen hardly ANY threads get bumped by a comment all day today, and it is now 11:36pm.

Now I'm not condemning you, so dont think that. You work hard, you work hard in the gym, and it's fun to go out with friends and get a little drunk, and take home a peice of ass you will regret in the morning. Not that you will regret it because she's ugly, or a little bit overweight. Because we are men, we really dont care sometimes. The only reason you will regret it is because your friend snapped a pic of you on his camera phone with her last night, and now they will make fun of you for the next week or two about the animal you banged.

So to the point. I have always hated the "holier than thou" view that most people on these forums have when people ask about drinking excessively. I have done it, I do it, and I will do it in the future again. And I may even bang a chubby girl or two in conjunction.

I just hope that one of you get your dicks puked on by said girl tonight. And if you are really a pimp, you will make her suck off her vomit from your dick.

And the only reason I'm sitting here bored, is because my girl had a girls night out with her friends, and I'm here watching movies, drinking corona, and just finished 20 hot wings. I may even partake in some porn and lube before I go to bed!

Agreed, I am 41, Wife 4 kids. I get up a 4am thru the week for work. I go out once a month and I need to take time off these boards...

While this might be true to some,I start the day at 5a.m. and drive 1 1/2 hours to work then do 10 and 2 hours in the gym. Then another 1 1/2 home , eat sleep and do it again. On week ends I like to spend some time with family and freinds. Like others here I haven't drank since I was a pup, to me it ain't worth the effort. I also see a lot of truth in this post but I think the reason alot of Bros are not posting is directly related to resent bust and keeping a low profile, J.R.

Yard work, house cleaning, NFL, NBA, NHL, kids soccer game, laundry, carreer, friends, family, food, movies. Jus to name a few of the everyday activities that takes up my time.

Very good post, but everyones life is different with different ways to spend what free time people do have!

I am busy with work through out the week.
Research and Lab work for me is Kinda 24-7 during the week.
But I still get on during the day and try to post 2-3 times a day.

As far as life style, I go out usually 3 nights a week to chase the ladies.
I hit the gym 4 days a week with an 1hr of cardio.
I have never had a drink, a smoke, or any drung other than AAS.
