DNA differences being the cause of higher or lower IQ's of different races is totally understandable. But I myself dont believe that the difference would be anything to hold one race back while another has an unfair advantage. It's obvious that social constraints is the biggest reason for the success or failure of a race as a whole.

And the worst part that I hate about this article is that they state the obvious that scientists and geneticists will now be somewhat held back from showing their results, in fear that they will lose funding. So now, being "politically correct" is more important that advancing the sciences and telling the truth of studies.

Sad.

I'll agree with all you've said and add that I believe that insurance companies in the future will use some of these test to qualify people for various types of ins. Its sad the world my never know all that there is to know about DNA cuz its not PC. J.R.

I didnt think about that angle. That for sure will happen sooner than we think. I used to be against government run healthcare, but I'm starting to change my mind about it.

Same here lincoln, as the best healthcare in America today is being given to Vets and that's run by the government!!! The Vet hospitals needed an overhaul and man did they get it!!!

Funny you mention that snach... Im covered by VA healthcare due to injuries I recieved in the Corps as well as covered by my works health insurance... I generally prefer to go see the VA doc- i never wait in the waiting room for long, I always get any meds quickly, and I feel more comfortable with former military personel.

Growinboy...I share your sentiments. If the government could be trusted to run things honestly and to use funding appropriately in the first place our healthcare system would not need an overhaul.
