I love Les Pauls, I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin and still do to this day.
I used to own a 1986 Les Paul Custom, it was excellent, but thanks to my now EX-wife, I had to sell it.

I love guitars. Back in the day, my buddy would bring his twelve string to the beach and start playing. The girls would flock around, start drinking beer and wine and he'd play " Stairway to Heaven " and I'd reel 'em in. LOL

I don't care what kind of brand of guitar or year it is....I would never spend that much cash for an Axe...with that said ...I own a Brian Moore DC1 and PRS Custom 10 top just like Carlos Santana owns...expensive yes...but not that expensive....:-)

Have you ever played a Malmsteen sig strat? Frets are scaloped hardest guitar ive tryed to play chords are impossible I always go sharp on a string or two.

I love PRS guitars, if I could afford a PRS Single-Cut I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Left nut wouldn't be an option, my right nut would miss it too much. Their very close. LOL
