got fitted for a suit today...
So I go to get fitted for a suit today. (I really should get a J-O-B!) I have a pretty tough time getting regular clothes to fit me. My GF bitches that I dont wear anything but workout gear! Anyhow, I go to get fitted and he has NOT A SINGLE SAMPLE PEICE OF CLOTHING THAT WILL FIT ME. He thought he had a suit coat that would work, but it wouldnt squeeze over my arms! I finally broke it down for him... Listen dude, Im not shaped like regular people. Please take measurements on each part of my body, and then create an article of clothing for me to wear! Have Omar the tentmaker sew it together and send me the bill! So he finally listens and measured my chest, shoulders, height, inseam, forearms, biceps, waist, thighs, and he even got a seat measurement because my ass is fuckin huge! So hopefully, I will have something nice to wear for professional functions and I dont have to listen to my girlfriend bitch about me wearing shorts and a sleeveless shirt when we go out to dinner...

She can bitch about me checking out the waitress instead.

Damn GrowingBoy,

You make me feel alot better, bro. I thought that I was one of the very few who ONLY wears workout gear. There's not a day go by when I'm not wearing my usual HOUSE OF PAIN ironwear pants and t's. Maybe an occassional HEAVYWEAR or even Gold's or World Gym shirts. But I've been wearing baggie workout pants and t's since 1990.

Like yourself, bro, I will be shopping for some "normal" clothes soon. I'm just waiting on a workmen's comp settlement first so that I can invest in a few casual and maybe a suit or two.

Did you try a big and tall men place? That's where I went a year ago when I needed pants and shirt for an event.

Yeah,.. even at a big and tall though, they arent made for people who are just really muscular. They cater to the tall and skinny and the big and fat! lol!
