More of a rant then storytime

The city I work in but no longer live in has made the national media( Montel ) recently and its pissing me off on the direction this country is taking. The story begins a few years ago when the mayor hired a Fire Cheif from D.C. and didn't hold him to the same standards that the city and state require. Things like getting certified for firefighting in the state. BTW he's a Black man. Jump ahead several years , new mayor that had the Fire Deptment behinf him if he fired the unqualified current cheif. That being done brings out that the Black Fire Cheif promoted several (4) Lt's to Capt. that weren't the top of the list people they where also Black, so the 4 men that got passed over sued the city and won, In the mist of this 2 Black FireFighters alledgedly found nooses on the lockers and they started a Human right commision to see if there was racism in the FD. Who's on this panel, the former FireCheif that had the only racism trail happen because he didn't follow the guidelines? go figure. Well that started me thinking about several thing, why are there T.V. channels and magizines and a special month set aside fora portion of our people when if any other race tried this we'd be called racists? What happened to the great melting pot where people tried to become American not some form of where they came from? I remeber 2nd and 3rd generation people getting butwhuppins from their folks for using a languege(sp) other than enlish and now everywhere I go I see Spanish. We cannot function long as a country if we are going to keep trying to separate ourselves from everyone else and scream if we feel offended, I say F##@ being PC and if your useless, worthless and just a total shit bag then get off my dime and starve. I don't expect people to comment as I might have rambled a bit. My point is theres a new profession in this country and its the professional racist, David Dukes, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton are a few and we need to tell them to shut up and go home. J.R.

you make some excellent points JR... If a man breaks into my house, then hurts himself, am I liable to help him? Ill probably hurt him worse with my fucking .45! But every day, immigrants sneak into this country (our house!) and our government gives them free medical care, etc, that generally arent even afforded to tax paying citizens!!! This country cant keep putting non citizens before its own citizens...

As for the racism, Al Sharpton and many others that want more just for their race are only hurting themselves, giving their people a crutch. People need to take responsiblity for themselves. And Im talking about all races. The poor spoiled white kid up in the suburbs doesnt get a free pass to shoot up his school because mommy raised him with grand theft auto instead of love.

Ive really had it with Bush trying to "give democracy" to foreign lands while he takes it away here. Im tired of seeing him further reducing VA healthcare as he lets more of our forces get injured overseas. Im tired of congressmen voting themselves pay raises EVERY YEAR, and shooting down the first minimum wage increase in TEN YEARS.

I love this country and served honorably, and Id do it again. But I will continue to vote and contribute to lobbyists to try to let America also honor its hard working citizens that made it great to begin with.

Well said GB... I don't care who wants to come into our country and better there life. That's great, more power to them. But do it the legal way. Get a job, pay taxes. The politicians are going to kill our country and then retire and go sit in there big houses, that we paid for, with their full time security crew, that we pay for, and rack in the cash from their own retirment plan that they gave to themselve, and we did'nt get to vote on. It pisses me off. Our country used to be run by people who wanted to make a difference. Now it's run by people who want to make a buck and don't give a shit about the actual americans their screwing. I love this country and I would defend it verbaly and phisically against anyone who thinks we're scum. I just wish that there were some actual honest politicians out there to run the country the way it was ment to be run. George Washington and Ben Franklin have probably rolled over in there graves a thousand times by now, after seeing what their country is turning into.

Good Feel that anger! I love to see Vets Mad that is more trained people for the ALA (American Liberation Army) An army trained by the people that screwed them now that is truly scary. I hate to say it but the onlyway we will get out country back is by force. A broken Vet is by far the best solider you can recruit they have passion and are not in the ALA for college money but for change.
