It's a car-free sunday here, which means that no cars are allowed into town. Only Pedestrians, cyclists, skateboarders, skaters and riders can enter the city.

This is gonna be fun!

Both actually. They try to show people that it's possible to go everywhere by foot or bus or tram or subway (metro, underground). Brussels is a big city but the public transportation is great and if people really made an effort and left their car(s) in the garage, life would be much safer and healthier. But as we all know, we are kind of addicted to our car.

On a car-free sunday, public transportation is cheaper (and sometimes even free).
