I'm not sure where this post fits in, but I do shave as well. Smooth skin feels so sensual, shows all your muscles, tendons and veins to their fullest, and it feels so wonderful when she runs her soft hands over your smooth skin, I prefer skin on skin to skin on hair anyday. Plus, the sheets feel wonderful against my freshly shaved legs. When she lays against you, and you feel her smooth skin on yours it is amazingly erotic, and when she kisses you all over she doesn't end up with a mouthfull of hair. Plus, you smell nicer without the hair to hold your sweat. I do it whenever I shower, which is most days, it takes a few minutes, but its worth it. I leave some pubes in the "patch" as to be completely shaved there for man or woman looks a bit odd to me, but that is personal taste. Maybe its just me, but I think men's shaved pits look sexy as hell if you have nice biceps and lats, whereas when covered in pit hair it is totally gross. I love it when she licks me there, very sensual, and she'll only do that if they are shaved perfectly smooth. Yum!

I really wonder why more men don't shave, actually. It seems to be limited mostly to bodybuilders and others who lift fairly seriously. I think women and men both have a pre-conceived bias against it, though that is changing as more and more college age guys have chest shaving parties prior to hitting the beach (LOL, that was an article in the Wall Street Journal of all places). I guess it takes time for the Icon shift to take place from the strong male totally covered in hair that was the male model of the 70's and before. Even in Hollywood, men have smooth chests now, certainly no back hair, but they don't shave their pits (Lord knows why men would want to keep their pit hair) or legs. The pit hair makes a huge difference, I never smell there, and truthfully don't even bother with deodorant half the time. When the man and women get over the bias, though, it is truly wonderful to be smooth, and if you are very muscular, there is no look or feel even close.

Of course, as long as the American Male Icon is some lazy beer drinking slob who selects his shirts by smelling the underarms to see which might be cleaner, men won't shave themselves. That is an image of American Maleness sold very hard on TV, both by show producers and by advertisers, so it may take a while to change, it obviously is something many people relate to. Those of us on bodybuilding boards are clearly the minority. I don't know too much about male icons in other countries, but I suspect this particular version of male identity is purely American.

Yep, I'm bald and my wife loves it! Chest arms and legs too. Looks better in the gym and I want to look good since I'm a personal trainer.

I've done my arm pits for a long time for this very reason. Problem is, I live in the south east and I feel like I'm the only one. Guys around where I live act like pit hair is their badge of manhood.

I will never shave my legs and all my pubes. I think its kind of gross. Pit hair is just disgusting. I shave it because I have a pit sweating problem and it cuts down some of the sweating. I shave my forearms because for some reason it keeeps me cooler. Not sure why but it seems that way. Also my forearms are rarely covered even in the winter and I have good sized forearms as wel so I like to show them off. But my legs will always remain hairy.l

Thats funny i got tired of my wife complaining about my hair on my legs so I went ahead and shaved my legs,ass and chest and let me say it freaked the shit out of her..... I told her just think of it as a PG lesbian expierence.... well at least i know she won't go lesbian on me.
