Post Old Football Player -- Brain Cancer

Hey just for discussion does anybody remember what the stack or stacks were that gave Lyle Alzedos Cancer of the brain. I think I spelled his name correct. Remember he was the football player from the Raiders.

I had read an article about his 'supposed' stack of anabolics that 'caused' his cancer. I've of course since forgotten all the details - but the jist of the article was "how do we know for certain he even had cancer, and not something else (aids)?" Him and his lineman buddies were notorious partiers.

It would be nice to know the truth though.

A.S could not bring on Brain Cancer. If Brain Cancer had already formed, then yes, it could have speed up the formation. The only enternal problems with A.S lie within Kidneys, Liver and Blood Pressure.

That is what I thought. However, our wonderful news media, if I remember, said that the cause was the combination of two rare steroids and of course the abuse them. I just wondered if anybody knew what they were since the guy went public before he died. I will look on the web when I get his name correct.

HGH that makes a lot more sense. I too heard he was doing an awful lot. He was trying to make a comeback in ball.

I remember when SI did an interview with him after his 'failed' comeback and ensuing sickness. He claimed up and down that his sickness was the result of roids. Who was his d-lineman good buddy? Mancuno? Shit, something like that.

Yea you are correct there was a friend of his that became vocal at the time of his sickness. I also remember he had a young blonde girl with him that he married.
