left the gym on a monday night twoweeks ago after heavy leg day. had major chest pain. went to doc and ran ekg, stress test and next day angioplasty, where they go up in your leg to your heart. last weds. went back in and put stents in threw my leg artery again. all they give you is a light weight valium. and local anastetic.

I wish you all the best in your recovery.... Even though I cannot go against what the doc told you regarding your rehab, I can insist that they often underestimate the human bodies ability to overcome. Just look at UFC fighter Frank Shamrock. He broke his neck and doctors told him he would never be able to play any sports or train heavy again. However, that was obviously not the case, currently he is one of the oldest and most seasoned MMA fighters.

The heart is not something to be messed around with. I would start light again and do that for a few weeks to see if another problem arises or not. From there if you feel the need you can try to gradually increase the intensity and see how it goes.

That sucks. I had a friend who had 3 heart attacks when he was 26. He had been cooking up crack from powder and was smoking 40 pieces on a can. He had used gear a few times also and has a bad drinking problem. He was told he'd never be able to workout again. He can train now but he won't take gear or smoke crack anymore. He still drinks like a fish.
