My Diet, My Job
I have tried going back to the TKD but I cannot seem to keep moving. I now am out of th truck hanging and picking up guardrail all day. By 1pm I am drained and sluggish. I know part of it is not being used to all the physicality of the job but I am active to begin with.
I am going to take rice and yams with me. I need the carbs so I may see what comes of this. I am losing BF still with all the activity. I am going to take in 5k cal a day and see what happens. The other day my sugar bottomed and I never had that happen. I was shaking could not focus and my HR was flying. Any Thoughts? |

my sugar crashes a lot...terrible feeling....keeps the carbs handy.....if your really trying to lose BF, i like "Quaker Morning Minis"...nice lil oatmeal snack with low sugar

Hard to say without knowing you...we all vary to some degree(genetics,metabolism,etc)... also lifestyle/occupation are factors....40/40/20 is a good place to start and take it from there

RFG, are you using slin at this time. You sugar bottoming out like that sure sounds like hypogycemia. I imagine you would have mentioned it if you were using it but just checking.
If not, maybe keeping some gatorade handy would be a good idea. Sounds like you have a tough, physically demading job. |

No Slin... Been taking 5oz Barilla plus pasta and a cup of brown rice. Has done wonders as far as energy. I can now get through the day...

Ya, what a difference. And you can see by my pics it is not effecting my BF at all.. I'm happy for that cause appearance comes second to endurance when on a highway where traffic is coming by you at 70+mph and within a foot or 2.... Need to be on the ball...
