Oatmeal

I'm sick and I find it hard to eat anything.
Just wonderin if it's OK to eat oatmeal with whey all day (no more than 4 times a day though)?

Thank you

PA-Muscle will become famous soon enough
I've done just that when I was dieting for a Comp. Oatmeal became my best friend along with Multi-Vits and Amino Acids along with a few other supps!...:-) Worked well for me...I wouldn't suggest to make this a long term regimen though....

Peace Out!

Or instead of spening 8 dollars or more on 4 cups of pudding you can go to the store and get some jello fat free sugar free instant pudding and some skim milk and cook that up and add some whey to it . Works and its alot cheaper

Most people can't stomach that meal too many times in a row without some digestive discomfort/bloating.

Cool

The best oatmeal is the old-fashioned long cooking type. However, it's a fact that phytic acid in present in the bran portion and the coarse cut stuff has more phytic acid, which binds with calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, zinc, copper, and iron in the gut. I guess this would only be a problem when one consumes a large amount of oatmeal on a continuous basis.

The phytates in oats also act in a minor way as enzyme inhibitors.

My recommendation is that this is a great temporary diet, but not for the long term. I eat about 1/2 cup to 1 cup cooked oatmeal daily.
