protein question
hey i was hoping you guys could help me out wit a couple questions about protein:
i usually take 2 double serving shakes of protein each day cuz my day doesnt allow me to spread 4 out within a day...is that bad(each serving is only 22g)? and it says to take each serving with 8oz of water, i use about 8-10oz of water for 2 servings cuz i cant stand the taste...is that another thing i'm doing wrong? and couple times a wk i take a shake 1/2 hr before bed...is that another thing i'm doing wrong? thanks for your help guys, i just dont wanna be taking my supplements the wrong way. |

so youre 1 doubling the pro in your shake
2 using MORE than recommended water and 3 taking in pro before bed? sounds like your doing things right to me! Ill bump my basic nutrition thread up to ya for some more thoughts on diet... |

nah the thing is that each serving should be with 8oz of water, but instead i take 2 servings with about 8oz of water....is that a big deal in takin my protein or nah?

Average body will absorb about 60 grams of protein at one time...anymore than that you piss it out. My outlook is to put more than less....I usually do about 3 scoops everytime I drink mine at around 22g of protein a scoop....and if I drink during a meal I do just one scoop...I mix with skim milk...gives it an awesome taste....As far as how many ounces to mix it with...F that..Whatever you want...your doing things right....Later
