Need a diet that will not kill me;)
Alright here is were I am at now.... 5'10" 210 @ roughly 16% and all of it is in my damn stomach
I think that my biggest problem is that I work a rotating shift. I work 12 hour shifts sitting on my a$$ and every 2 weeks I rotate between days and nights. It really sucks as I start to feel good (during days) about my diet I switch to nights and start to feel fat as shyt :( My diet is not the greatest but not all that bad. On a given day I bring in 180-200 grams of protein, I try not to eat more than 150 grams of carbs a day. I stay away from almost all dairies and dont drink milk. I am always hungry and eat about every 3 hrs I may be doing things all wrong here could you give me some help here, what should I be eating, what should I avoid and when should I stop eating? Thanks in advanceD |

Protein should be at 2-2.5grams per pound of body weight... Cut carbs out of your diet after 5-6pm, do not eat 2 hours before bed, and start eating cleaner... green veggies, turkey, flank steak, eggs, tuna, fish. This would be a good start.

Looks like you are already getting good advice. The fact you are hungry much of the time is a clue that WHAT you are currently eating may be causing the hunger. there is research in this area.
Cut carbs, at no time do you want to spike your insulin. this is done by taking in too much simple carbs too fast. Spiking your insulin causes it to crash and makes you extra hungry PLUS signals fat cells to store FAT. Check out research on Glycemic Index of foods and avoid high glycemic index foods. I have recently made terrific body feature changes getting more ripped using Growth Hormone and a thyroid T3 activator which steps up your basic metablism. One other I do is plan all the next day meals. It takes me about an hour each night, but then I eat right. Otherwise, left to random, I don't eat right. clubtest Chuck |

Try the "South Beach Diet". Looses the belly fat. And i pretty easy to do. Take a look at it I have been on for 3 weeks and have lost over 10 pounds and a pant size. I was 200 6'2 and a 38. let me know if you have any questions.

Grrrr
Ok, I sit on my ass all day too, but know what? I BRING MY FOOD WHEREVER I GO! I cook on Sundays (boil about 15lbs of chicken breasts), steam a shitload or brown rice and steam my veggies. I am lucky enuf to have a fridge at work, but i am ALWAYS packing a soft cooler too. I think it gets easier the longer u do it. As far as abdominal fat, well......unfortunatley, the FIRST place we gain, is the LAST place we lose, so cardio and diet are the KEY! I am 7 weeks out from my 1st show and already my abs are in, but its only from DIET, 1 hr cardio 1st thing in the morning (on an empty tummy), another 30 min cardio at night and......VERY STRICT HANGING KNEE RAISES WITH AB STRAPS!! This is the only ab exercise I do, and it works both my upper and loser abs. So, good luck, and remember to always....EAT CLEAN AND TRAIN HARD!!

BigSexy is right. There is NO excuse for eating improperly anymore. Even fast food restaurants have healthy options if you don't premake and brown bag all of your meals. Live your life how you want to look! Don't think that it comes easy for everyone.

ab fat
Hey bro, I used to train at a nice small gym called maximum fitness. At maximum fitness stressed usuni the Parrillo principal of no dairy, no fruit juice, no fruit. And as always no junk food. Training with Kevin Lev and Ivory Turner aka Papoose we always trained abs first every day on a empty stomach. As BigSexyFBB said abs is a diet thing. Papoose always said the same thing abs is a diet thing and he was quoted as having some of the best abs in the sport. Abs must be trained every day. I find that the best time to train abs is always first on an empty stomach before the workout. Another good practice is to hold the abs in. Do not relax your abs so they bulge out but try to keep them tight. You will see results.
