How many calories do you feel is best for gaining weight (putting on size) during a AAS cycle?
*Break it down in numbers according to your weight, how much protein you consume and carbs and fats? *When your dieting or cutting up, give me a breakdown on how many calories your consuming according to your bodyweight? Do you try to maintain the same amount of calories and just add in cardio or what? Thanks LuckySt. |

I don't try to watch calories too much...somewhere between 5-6500 calories work pretty well for me!!! I also tend to ratio my protein/carb, I take at around a 2/1 ratio...2g protein/1g carb per # of body weight!!!!
Off cycle Protein 200-225g, carbs 100-125...On cycle I up it to, Protein 2.5-3g, carbs 1.5-2g!!! But if I tend to still have a lingering hunger or that unsatisfied feeling I will up the carb gradually through out the day until I find that comfort level...Then keep it around there until I feel I need to up it again!!! |

TO tell you the truth, i don't really keep track of my calories. When i'm choosing a meal i ask myself, "Is this going to help me grow". Everymeal i eat has to contain some sort of protein. I usually consume between 150-200 grams of protein from shakes and the rest from food. I usually consume between 350-450 grams of protein a day with most days around 400. The only fat i watch is my sat. fat because that is the only fat that i believe makes you fat. The rest of the fat can be burned off as energy. So far this has worked pretty well for me on cycle cause i have put on about 32 pounds in 5 weeks.

I'm with ya Big....but according to Dr.Atkins, it isn't the FAT content that makes you fat, it's the CARB intake of your daily diet!!!! According to him you can eat as much protein/Sat. fat as you want, but says to stay under a certain level of carbs, or your fate is to be fat!!! I don't know that i agree totally, but on some level I think he may be correct.

Yup I don't pay attention to close either.
I keep it simple, Higher protein, moderate carbs. and low fat. I'm not a high scientific modulated calorie detailed person. JK [ November 04, 2002, 12:05 PM: Message edited by: Shine ]
