Post Fat Problem!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok check this out I am dieting and two weeks ago i weighed 218 and now as of like a hour ago the scale said 210 thats right 210. But there is just one problem it doesnt seem like that fat from my stomach area is leaving. When i stand up i mean my stomach is tight hell you can even see my top two abs the the out of my obliques and stuff but when i sit down its like still fat. How and when does it start getting real tight and lean. I am lossing the wieght but what i the problem. My workout is real intense no doubt i bust my ass in the gym. My cardio is everyday at least thirty minutes real intense. Do i need to do weighted abs to develope the muscle more or do i need to jsut do like more abs per say to cut them on up? Guys or Gals give me some insight on this matter.

Bro, first off welcome! You need not worry so much, you'll stress yourself out over it. The one thing you have to remember about bringing your abs into play is that they are the first place your body stores fat and unfortunatley they are the last place fat will come off. I went from a chubby 215 lbs to a lean 140 (kinda light I know) in 6 months with cardio 3 days a week, strength training on alternate days and ab training after my cardio routines. Don't do abs everyday every other is fine. They need to recover just like any other muscle. Proper nutrition and supplementation is critical as well. Give yourself a day off from training to rest up fully, no exercise at all. Overtraining is a bad thing. Finally sleep your ass off at night. Get 8-9 hours a night, muscle grows and fat burns when you are sleeping. I know this is all quite vague but its the very basic jist of it. PM me for details bud. Best of luck!

The best way to achieve lean abs is through diet, nutrition, and cardio. If you're not seeing the desired results, then you're doing something wrong in one of these three areas.

Hey BOLO, I have to agree with ROBYN on this... First off your abs will be the LAST place to shred up, sorry just that stubborn layered area is the toughest to give it up...second, you already have an impressive set of abs under all that fat, you just need to bring it out, DIET is the only way, ABS are 10% workout and 90% diet, so make sure this area is in check...might try 1 hour of intense cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach...plus because you already have a good set of abs, if you work them out too hard, they will grow like any other muscle does, and push the belly out giving you that extended belly look, making you look fatter, I went through this a while back.

My advise is get rest, check your diet and do cardio, steam room, and swim. Take that right off your trouble areas...and drink tons on WATER...Hope this helps bro!!
