I cant wait to see all the posts to this one. I feel as im going around in circles. Right now im watching my fat and calorie intake and doing high cardio. Im also doing high weight low reps. So far its working for me (I think). All I truly know is that I feel better than i have in a long time.
Im told do build mass to change fat for muscle then im told to lose fat so you can see my muscle.

I do beleive there is a BIG differnce in dieting and Mass to an extent...I mean to diet (whether to maintain or tone or cut up) you should be watching what you eat, and watrching to eat clean with a well balanced diet...low fat, moderate carbs and protein!!! To mass up, I like a see food diet...what I see I eat..everything in sight, McDonalds, Hardees, Pizza, TGI Fridays, beef WHATEVER I feel will help me grow, and while I still watch the fat intake to an extent, I have no worries about Carb intake and eat as high a protein diet as possible!!! While it is possible to do both at the same time...True Mass diets should include in array of EVRERY DAMN THING you can find!!!!

My "Training" and my "Diet" doesn't much change whether I'm Training for Contest or Mass building Off Season. I just clean things up a bit (better quality of food), but I continue to lift heavy with my rep range between 6-12 and my calories around 4000 up untill a week or so before the contest...All I really do is add in the cardio in the mornings for 45min to an hour before breakfeast and again at nights before bed for another 45 min., that seems to work best for me without losing a dime of Muscle-Mass!!

I'd like to hear some others thoughts!

Thanks
Lucky

Although my diet changes a bit while I am on AAS, the basic structure remains the same throughout the year day in and day out. I know exactly how much I need to eat / not eat to stay lean and maintain lean bodymass. My diet has three phases - midweek after training two to three muscle groups, I will increase my carb intake to heal accomodate for the stress i've put on my body. On the other side of things, Sundays when my body is fully healed I eat just over the minimum amount necessary to maintain. While I am gearing it up, I keep my calorie intake above 6000 calories / day for at least the first 8 weeks, towards the end of my cycles i taper down on fat / simple carbs to lean down and take my losses before the gear wears off. This way I come out leaner and lighter (fat / water wise)than if i wouldve eaten more, but I come out with an accurate idea of how much MUSCLE i really gained. Basic structure of my diet stays the same - 400-700 grams of protein / day depending on the day and what condition my body is in, 300-500grams of complex carbs per day. Raising or lowering calorie levels as needed to achieve desired results
