I'm gonna put my 2 cents worth in on this one.
I strongly agree with BigWill & Flatline. "2 grams per 1# of bodyweight", anything less you will not grow like you want.

If I go below this formula; natural or juice'n, I loose weight, but like Flatline says everyone is different..

I weigh 230# and take in about 300gm per day and it seems to suit me fine. I asked Nasser El Sonbaty about this at the Arnold a couple years ago and he said that in the off season he only takes in about 100gm per day and doesn't lose weight. He said 80% of his diet off season was carbs and the other 20 was made up of protein and fats. I think everyones body reacts differently to everything. We're all different (DNA).But I'd say not less than 1gm per # of bodyweight MAY suffice. Just my 2 cents

I was suggesting 2 grms per lb of body weight for a Bulking cycle while on the juice. When I'm off I go 1 -1.25 grms a day and maintain.

Aww thanks Flat, that was (sniff) sweet off you. You heard the man now bump this biatch! Anywho, started increasing the ol protein intake to 250g a day, 50 at one sitting. It's making me shit like a mofo but I'll deal. Is Myoplex supposed to have a pudding-like texture when you mix it? It's a good change, I'm getting sick of those digusting whey protein shakes.

Myoplex has a pudding like taste =P. I find taste-wise, musclemilk has all of the whey proteins licked. Only problem is, its expensive. I go for the cheapest thing that my body will accept which happens to be SciFit Econo Whey at this point and time. I try not to stay with the same powder for too long, find I get used to it.

I love posting on threads that are almost a year old. laff

I have read anywhere between 1 and 2 grams per pound of body weight, more if you're juicing. I dunno I am on about 350-400grams right now. I spend alot of time in the bathroom but hey we all have to pay some price.
