During his court hearing, George Marquardt, a self taught chemist, the man who is single handedly responsible for the deaths of over 500 junkies on the east coast, and the first clandestine chemist to ever synthesise and sell fentanyl analogs as heroin, was asked by the judge what kind of a chemist he was, he promptly responded "Clandestine". He now spends the rest of his life in prison.
