Thanks, but I did that ten times and it keeps coming back as read-only.

There maybe programs that will override exsisting properties so you can modify said files... I did a search for my own personal problem that was the same, I had to get a pdf changed from r-o.

1. I'd hate to think that it has a virus, my anti-virus is pretty good (NOD32).
2. I agree, some have security measures that prohibit certain functions.
