A little computer help.
Ok, I (unfortunately) have Vista. I am the only account on my PC therefore, I'm the administrator.
Here's the rub: I have a few files that I downloaded and cannot erase because they are listed as read-only. Now, I have gone in and TRIED to change this and every time it comes back as read only.
Even when I've tried to erase these files I get a message telling me that I need admin privileges to complete this task. I am the freakin admin!
I've checked my account under "User Accounts" and I have full control over everything. I cannot figure out why this keeps happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
