Yes, they can arrest you for nearly anything, even suspicion. But being arrested and being convicted are two greatly different animals. This is why its VERY important to know your rights and play your cards right after
the arrest. They can throw their case away on a simple technicality. Its not a walk in the park for them to convict you unless you freak out and confess instantly.
The majority of people on these forums think that being arrested is as good as being convicted. Your case wont likely even go to trial for 18 months after the arrest is made.
