That's funny...my BF and I were just discussing this today. I think that is the biggest mistake a girl (or guy for that matter) can make...to just "assume" their partner knows what they like and/or want. I was always so shy (sexually) in my previous relationships that I would've never considered actually telling my partner what I liked him to do for me. Now, we are actually at a point where we are close enough and comfortable enough to be able to tell each other what we like and how we like it.
My point is...that it is worth trying to discuss at a level at which you are both comfortable. It won't do you any good if she's squirming through the whole conversation. As juvenile as it sounds...sometimes these things are easier said/talked about non-verbally. Email, love notes, text messages, etc. can work wonders to break the ice! :O
