Nice read! I think the things I would add for injury prevention are to make sure your stabilizers and tendons are strong enough to lift the weight you are lifting. my disclaimer, and we talk a lot about working and building up the stabilizer and tendon strength before he can go back to pushing the heavy weights he pushes. I think people need to realize that if they are going to be lifting heavy, as opposed to old school training how I was "raised" on weights, you need to constantly be doing excercises that are supporting the growth and development of your tendons, ligaments, and stabilizer muscles or you will get hurt down the road.
