I have the exact same problem GB, and the heartburn comes from acid reflux, trust me when I tell ya'. My doctor gave me Prevacid 30mg tabs and the problem is completely gone (taking only 1 tab per day).. I've used Zantac like Flat suggested, but it only helped for a few days, zantac is very mild in comparison to Prevacid or Prilosec which resloves the problem of heartburn, ulcers, indigestion and acid reflux completely!! Trust me it's what you need Bro.
