Although my diet changes a bit while I am on AAS, the basic structure remains the same throughout the year day in and day out. I know exactly how much I need to eat / not eat to stay lean and maintain lean bodymass. My diet has three phases - midweek after training two to three muscle groups, I will increase my carb intake to heal accomodate for the stress i've put on my body. On the other side of things, Sundays when my body is fully healed I eat just over the minimum amount necessary to maintain. While I am gearing it up, I keep my calorie intake above 6000 calories / day for at least the first 8 weeks, towards the end of my cycles i taper down on fat / simple carbs to lean down and take my losses before the gear wears off. This way I come out leaner and lighter (fat / water wise)than if i wouldve eaten more, but I come out with an accurate idea of how much MUSCLE i really gained. Basic structure of my diet stays the same - 400-700 grams of protein / day depending on the day and what condition my body is in, 300-500grams of complex carbs per day. Raising or lowering calorie levels as needed to achieve desired results
