There is a fine line between gaining quality muscle(with a little fat) and eating too many cals and pushing your bodyfat% way up. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about the weight so much, but rather focus on the amount of muscle you build. The more fat you put on now, the more you have to deal with getting rid of later. Your idea for a clean bulk is a good way to gain some quality mass. Granted it is a much more difficult diet plan then mcdonalds and dairyqueen, but then again bodybuilding is not an easy task.......Are your measurements dry(uncooked) or cooked? Because 2 cups of dry rice is a lot when it is cooked, and very difficult to eat at once. I'm 272 and 2 cups rice with a couple chicken beasts make me want to puke.
